Arif leads the Johor Darul Ta’zim 2026/27 assist chart with 11

Johor Darul Ta’zim have put a figure on who has been doing the creating this season, and the top of the list is not close.

The chart

The club published its 2026/27 assist statistics on its own account, marked as current to 20 September.

Arif heads it with 11. Hidalgo is next on 7, then Bergson on 4.

Six players share two apiece — Hong, Mendez, Afiq, Jairo, Arribas and Stoichkov — and nine are on one: Zahedi, Silva, Daniesh, Guilherme, Akapo, Wilkin, Petrovic, Corbin-Ong and Nene.

What it sits on top of

The chart arrives with Johor Darul Ta’zim first in the Malaysia Super League, five matches played and five won, 15 points, 25 goals scored and none conceded.

The cup has been no kinder to anyone. They beat Damansara FC 10-0 in the Malaysia FA Cup round of 16, then won 7-2 away at Penang FC in the quarter-final first leg, the night covered in Johor Darul Ta’zim win 7-2 at Penang FC in the Malaysia FA Cup quarter-final.

The one match that did not follow the pattern was in Asia: 1-1 at home with Buriram United in their opening AFC Champions League fixture.

What is next

The quarter-final second leg with Penang FC is at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on 9 October, kicking off at 20:15. Four days after that, Pohang Steelers host them in the AFC Champions League.

An assist chart is a snapshot rather than a season, and this one is a snapshot of a squad in which the creating has been spread widely while one name sits clear at the top of it.
