What this covers

This policy covers straitscore.com and both of its editions.

What we collect

Nothing you give us. There are no accounts, no comments and no form on this site that submits anywhere, so we hold no personal data you have handed over.

Server logs. Our host records standard web-server information for each request, including IP address and browser type, for security and diagnostics. We do not combine those records with anything else, and we do not use them to identify individuals.

No analytics. We do not run any analytics or measurement tool. Nothing here counts which pages you visit, where you came from, or how long you stayed.

The newsletter is not operating yet. The signup form is not connected to a provider. It stores nothing and sends nothing, and an address typed into it is not kept anywhere. Do not use it expecting to be subscribed.

We do not ask for or store payment details.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies — none for functionality, none for measurement — and stores nothing in your browser.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which handles requests and keeps the server logs described above.

Football fixtures, results and tables come from a third-party data provider. That data is fetched while the site is being built, not while you are reading it, so nothing about you reaches them.

We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond.

Changes

This page describes what the site does today. Analytics and a working newsletter are both planned, and this page will be updated before either is switched on, not afterwards. If the policy changes materially we will say so here.
