Johor Darul Ta’zim beat Port FC 3-0 at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, Iskandar Puteri, on 27 October in their third match of the AFC Champions League league stage.

All three goals came after half-time. Jonathan Silva opened the scoring in the 53rd minute from Arif Aiman bin Mohd Hanapi’s pass. Bergson Gustavo Silveira da Silva doubled the lead in the 62nd minute, set up by Oscar Arribas, and Stoichkov added the third in the 86th minute from Matías Nahuel’s pass.

It is a second win in a row in the competition. Johor Darul Ta’zim drew 1-1 at home with Buriram United on 15 September, then won 2-0 away to Pohang Steelers on 13 October, Marcos Guilherme scoring both goals. That makes two wins and a draw from three league-stage matches, with no defeat.

The two clubs meet again on 4 March 2027, in an ASEAN Club Championship group match at PAT Stadium, Bangkok.

At home, Johor Darul Ta’zim are top of the Malaysia Super League with 18 points from six matches, 28 goals scored and none conceded. They also hold a 2-0 lead from the first leg of their Malaysia FA Cup semi-final against DPMM FC.

Johor Darul Ta’zim next play Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors at Jeonju World Cup Stadium on 3 November in the fourth league-stage match, kicking off at 6pm Malaysian time. The second leg against DPMM FC follows at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on 8 November, kicking off at 8.15pm.
