Dato’ Sri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain cannot accept his appointment as deputy chairman of the FAM Integrity Committee, according to a FAM media release posted on 5 October.

The appointment had been announced five days earlier. FAM’s Executive Committee held its sixth meeting of the 2025-2029 term at Wisma FAM in Kelana Jaya on 30 September. It was the first meeting chaired by the new FAM president, Dato’ Ab Ghani Hassan, and the other nine Executive Committee members elected at FAM’s second Extraordinary Congress of 2026, held at Hilton Petaling Jaya on 17 September, all attended.

At that meeting, Ab Ghani announced a chairman and a deputy chairman for each of FAM’s standing committees for the rest of the term. The list in the 30 September release named Mohd Shuhaily as deputy chairman of the Integrity Committee. Its chairman is Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Haji Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay.

Ab Ghani also announced on 30 September that Harimau Malaya will play China twice in Guangzhou, on 14 and 17 November, according to AFF.
