Johor Darul Ta’zim goalkeeper Syihan Hazmi stopped a penalty in the 64th minute at Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium on 18 October, according to Terengganu FC’s match review. The visitors were already two goals up at that point, and they finished the Matchday 5 meeting with a 3-0 win over Terengganu FC.

The home club’s review sets out how the goals came. Haziq Kutty shot wide for Terengganu FC in the opening exchanges, before Bergson put Johor Darul Ta’zim ahead. The hosts made an early change, bringing on Habib Haroon for Ngewi Ndasi, and Oscar Arribas then headed in from a free kick in the 42nd minute. Shahab Zahedi added the third late on, while Terengganu FC were still pushing for a goal.

The result keeps Johor Darul Ta’zim top of the Malaysia Super League. They have still conceded no league goal, and the save in Kuala Nerus kept it that way.

Johor Darul Ta’zim face DPMM FC in a Malaysia FA Cup semi-final at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Bandar Seri Begawan, on 23 October, kicking off at 8.15pm Malaysian time. Terengganu FC visit Sabah FC at Likas Stadium, Kota Kinabalu, on 31 October for Matchday 6, with kickoff at 7.30pm.
