The Professional Footballers Association of Malaysia (PFAM) paid a courtesy visit to Damansara FC at the sports arena of Universiti Malaya, the association said on 28 October. It was part of PFAM’s #PFAMTour2026 series of visits.
PFAM president Razman Roslan led the delegation, with executive committee member Kenny Pallraj and chief executive Izham Ismail. Team manager Afizal Abu Othman represented the club.
According to PFAM, the delegation explained how the association fights for the welfare of professional footballers in Malaysia and protects their interests. The session put the weight on players knowing their rights, above all on employment contracts and their terms and conditions, and on understanding a contract before signing any agreement with a club. The association said the aim is for players to make better-informed decisions, understand their professional responsibilities and know where to turn if a problem over their rights or welfare arises. It added that it hopes visits like this one will strengthen its working relationship with local clubs.
On the pitch, Damansara FC went out of the Malaysia FA Cup in the round of 16 in September. They lost the home leg 4-1 to Johor Darul Ta’zim at UM Arena Stadium on 1 September, then the return 10-0 at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, Iskandar Puteri on 8 September.
